Basic Needs India (BNI) is a resource organization working in the area of Community Mental Health and Development. (Visit: www.basicneedsindia.org).

BNI is looking for a professional with effective communication, dynamism, commitment to community development and leadership for its programmes (and projects) in India

The person has to travel to partner areas, network with Government and Community Stakeholders, facilitate the implementation of the aforementioned program, check finance & budget utilization, build the capacity of the team including data processing and documentations, as a Program Coordinator.

S/He will be responsible for the timely reports.

Candidate Pre-requisites

  • Masters’ degree in Social Work or equivalent education to deeply understand Community Mental Health
  • 10 years of experience in community development sector
  • Knowledge of Kannada, English and Hindi.
  • BNI expects the selected candidate to shift to Bangalore, where the office is.

Preference will be given to candidates with above criteria and

  • Experience in Community Organization
  • Recovered person from mental disorder
  • Person with other disabilities.
  • Any minority group including LGBTQA
